The station dates from roughly 1905. From looks the community was well served at one time,rather nice building for a town of less than 1000 citizens. Last passenger service ended in 1977 and no doubt the building came down not long after that. Most small town prairie stations were built with agent's living quarters upstairs, as in this case.
