Caption: Pandrol Jackson MW Unit 101 grinder train crosses the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge into Canada on a beautiful sunny and warm March afternoon. Once into Canada it was met by similar train MW 109 heading Stateside.P.J. was involved with surfacing, tie equipment and grinding before being bought outright by Harsco Track Technologies.For those who made note of such equipment, Jackson Jordan took over Speno, Pandrol merged with J.J. and Harsco took it all over in 1999.Pandrol Jackson used to be located at Ludington, MI; Danbury, CT and Syracuse, NY and at the time of takeover had in excess of 500 employees.

Is the bridge pristine or the train ugly? Never in my lifetime have I ever seen this thing! Great photo Arnold!
