It is a beautiful sunny afternoon in early May, the foliage is just beginning to bring that soft colour to the land. It is a Wednesday afternoon, usually a day I took away from work in lieu of Saturday; and I have made it to a spot I enjoy in order to capture VIA 6771 rolling west past the sprawling remains of the Canada Crushed Stone Ltd complex on the escarpment at about Mile 4, Dundas Sub. This is all gone today, only remains is some hiking trail over old track bed. In the background is Sydenham Rd bridge.

  1. Beautiful shot Arnold! Such a shame it can’t be reproduced today :(

  2. Thanks, Marcus. This is a vote for being out in early spring.
