The crew on GEXR 431 exchanges waves with the crew of GEXR 582 on the platform at Georgetown. 582 had just interchanged a D9R dimensional with CN and being a light power move, was held to follow VIA 85 and 431 onto the Guelph Sub. Power on both trains exemplifies the diversity the Genesee & Wyoming brought to the GEXR with Quebec Gatineau Railway 6908 and GEXR 3054 on train 431; while 582 featured St. Lawrence & Atlantic power with slug 806 and and powered unit 3806
