  2. Yep. The middle of three was gone all the way to the ‘Jct’ to Montrose by 1994.

  4. Thanks, Benjamin. Sadly, Niagara is but concerning railroads, yes, Niagara is but an empty shell of what it once was.

    I also notice the CASO sub signals appear to be turned away?

  6. The CP’s CTC through here was removed from service on 9 December 1990, coincident with the implementation of OCS and the then new Canadian Rail Operating Rules. At the same time, dispatching of the Hamilton sub (including the former TH&B Welland sub) was moved to Toronto and the Hunter Street and St Thomas (CASO) dispatching office was closed. Watch for an article on this upcoming in the TH&B Historical Association “Ontarian” this fall.
