CN train 148 catches nice morning sunshine as the engineer pours on the coal on the upgrade from CN Snake (Road), whose east-side signals are in the distance. GECX 7368 is contributing most of the smoke. Being the day after the US Memorial Day holiday could account for 148 being earlier than usual and having less double stacking.

  2. Thanks, ngineered4u. A week and a bit after brushing, the visible section of lead track on the far right is mostly clay-brown between the rails, not stone grey. There was a bit of excavation near this spot in May.
