A pair of Ontario Northland F-units lead a northbound freight, stopped at CN's Barrie station on the Newmarket Sub in 1969. The power are back-to-back GMD FP7 units 1517 and 1502, both sporting the new "Progressive" green and white livery applied in 1966 (the third F-unit painted in this livery was 1521, but the units only lasted about six years in this scheme).

    Though not a fan of this scheme, it’s still great to see a pair of them, even better on their traditional route down the Newmarket Sub. Love this!
