The Edson Sub was a disaster on May 24th, primarily due to train M347 (single unit) running out of fuel on the double track at Dalehurst. Q191 was behind them and shoved them down the hill into the clear in the siding at Hinton. Here we see Q191's power about to cut off from M347's tailend and proceed back to their train around Mile 165. PRLX SD75M 219 will lead the return trip.

    Now I know two people that have shot one of these leading (even if it’s unoccupied or not set up in the lead position)

    Quite rare to say the least.

    They have to have all the proper equipment to lead in Canada including RSC, crew packs, stretcher, first aid kit and event recorders. Microwaves and hot plates and refrigerators may not be in units.
