These are MY oldies. They aren't all that long ago but boy were things much more interesting in this timeframe. Pumpkins eat your heart out, these are my favourite. What happened to these two units?
6825 appears to have survived to BNSF 1851 at Barstow CA yard, NS 6693 of the 113 NS units in this series only 32 active (http://www.nsdash9.com/rosters/6550.html)  and 6693 is now SD60e 6982. It'll take me a while to figure out if I have shot the 6982 as a SD60e :)

  1. This is nice. I remember this train, as I shot it at Grimsby and it was held at Nelles Rd so I was able to grab a few more shots. It is a much better image at Hamilton West, as in this splendid view; but some of us had to work harder than others and I could ill afford the time to motor on down to Bayview. :o )

  2. I wasn’t much of a chaser in this period, didn’t start doing that until 2005..

    but I love some of the stuff I saw back then.
