Rather obvious it has been a healthy summer so far as the lush foliage has really taken over at the Jct. It is still early July as a CN transfer heads into Hamilton behind CN 1320 and 1315, with 48 cars of all sorts of traffic in tow. Note the trailers; something we do not see any more........I recorded the caboose as CN 79768. Both motors (SW1200RS) went off roster in 1993.

    Great shot and just after I got my new Rapido SW1200RS’s on my layout this week! Sure miss seeing these in action. Thank you for sharing as always Mr. Mooney.

    Those li’l buggers could pull just about anything.
    I used to have 5 of them lashed up when I operated 403 from Oshawa to Aldershot and back. The spark arrestors didn’t do much as those units put on quite the light show in run 8!

    Stuart: I really can’t remember after all this time, but I probably had been out late the night before and was feeling rather low that morning.
