The road freight (RLHH 597) outlawed in Brantford last night, this lead to an extra crew being called today to take 3049 and work Garnet Yard before heading down to Hagersville to switch the mill there. RLHH 3049 returned south to Hagersville at 7:58 enroute Garnet Yard with the 8 cars, temporarily parked on the east leg of the Caledonia wye, along with a couple of empty centre beams and a box car from N & C on the tail end. Yes indeed an odd day for SOR albeit unique and interesting for a few railfans.

Way to incorporate the old station Joseph! Was back home to my in laws at Jarvis. We were on our way back from Hamilton and had to pull over as we saw the monstrosity of the new Food Basics store! Such change…which soon this would be a CN Loco no less.
