What’s with the brass knuckles like headlight orientation?
631 & 632 were ex L&HR C-420′s that BC Rail acquired late 1973?? At that time they had high mounted headlights. BCR eventually mounted the headlights down on the short hood and experimented with ditch light placement. In my image the two vertical lights are the headlight, the horizontal are the ditch lights. The mounting of the ditch light would shine over a slug when coupled. Not a very good setup. see attached link for images of 631 & 632 with different lights.

No, I agree it was not a good setup. I did check out the links you provided. I like the 632 because it just looks like they were added. Your example no offense mades it look like the shop crews took brass knuckles and said “this will work”.
Nonetheless it’s still a good pic and thank you for taking the time to answer my crazy question.
