Caption: It’s not a spot that many rail fans venture to, mainly as it’s hidden away and a bit of a tight shot, but I have always taken a liking to the old Credit Valley Railroad bridge in Streetsville. Originally single tracked it was later widened to allow for a second main. It’s not hard to become one with nature here even though you are pretty much in the middle of the city. Here we see CP 9818 west running on the block of train 241 with line UP 5500 in the lead, as luck would have it another Uncle Pete was in the mix on this train as well. Everything here is still looking pretty dormant but in a few weeks the spring colours will begin once again to take over.
