Caption: RLHH 595 is seen headed towards STELCO with 15 coil cars. Power today was RLHH 2117, RLHH 21111, RLHH 3049, with SD40-2 3403 on loan to the GEXR and SD40-2 3404 in Hamilton for service, a trio of geeps is holding down the road freight. It has been quite some time since I have seen a trio of geeps being utilized on 595/597.

That’s pretty cool. RLHH 2117 was on the Ingenia Cannonball on Thursday. It looks pretty good leading 595. Nice catch Jazzy.
I’ve seen a few negative remarks about these orange units. Personally, I like them, they contrast very nicely with many scenic situations.
Joseph, you sure managed a lot of great photos on the Hagersville Sub! It’s too bad that in less than a month now the coloured units will become ‘a thing of the past’ but I guess that’s just life. Anyway may I ask the hours of operations for SOR on the Hagersville Sub as to when they operate and where they start out. If it’s possible I myself hope to squeeze in a trip up near here to photograph a SOR Train or 2 on the Hagersville Sub before they become history. Thank you.
With regards to discussions I’ve has with other railfans on YouTube and stuff, it sadly appears that the Burford Spur will fall into disuse by the end of September and with their schedule being very unpredictable, it’ll take some maricle for me to be able to make it to Brantford before then to see a train. So anyway just wanted to see if you knew the operating hours and stuff so hopefully I can grab a couple shots of SOR in their ‘final days’ on the Hagersville Sub.
@Railfan99 – just head to Concession 8 at the south end of Garnet Yard late morning and you can see 595 switching there. Once they have their train for Nanticoke together you can get ahead of them to another Concession Road and photograph them again.
