Making this photo was a multi-stepped process. The first step after the shutter was opened was to open each hood door one at a time and shine my flashlight inside. Next de-train and stand out of view of the camera and use my switch lantern to put some light on the trucks and fuel tank. Lastly I walked over to my truck that was situated out of view on the road behind the unit and turned on the headlights for about 5 seconds. Then walked back over to the camera and ended the exposure. I'm fairly satisfied with the result.
