Nice warm day in Cranbrook! Not sure why I was there, but I think I had contractors working on the post office roof at the time. Anyways after work was over for the day I drifted down to the CP yards & CP 8201 was idling away so I grabbed a shot of it. Mainly I took photographs of individual locomotives,rolling stock,or buildings because I knew that things were always changing, & I might not get to see them again.

The GPS location shown is not correct! It should be 49.511133 / -115.775595 and that should get you within a few locomotive length’s of where I took the picture. Us ex CDN army personnel usually knew where we were or where we were going, and I never went to Russia (though I did see a couple of real Soviet officers once)
