TTC PCC 4562, an A9-class car originally built for Cincinnati, operates on the Dundas route (via Church routing) coming off the curve heading southbound from Dundas Street onto Church Street. Towering in the background is the old Simpsons-Sears department store mail order building off Mutual St., still in use by Sears at the time but by the late 80's it had been sold off and is presently the "Merchandise Building" lofts. That long low building behind the streetcar has been demolished and is the present site of Ryerson's George Vari Engineering & Computing Centre building.

Original photographer unknown, Kodachrome from Dan Dell'Unto coll.
