While switching cars at the NEI Parsons Company (engineering firm owned back then by Rolls Royce) the front truck of CN 7306 went on the ground, and assistance had to be called in. In the days of fixed lenses it was hard to line up this shot; I was unable to back up far enough to get a clear picture of everything I wanted to, and preferred to get the location in the shot. Neilson Av is a short street between Welland Av and the North Service Rd in the city, and it was about the only industry left to be service by rail north of the QEW by this time.

  1. Nicely done.. I never did shoot a train on the north side of the QEW and I did want to.
