CN train 399 with IC repainted SD70 #1008 trailing is framed by an old tree that is marked and will not see another autumn. I have always likes the field shot here and its a nice quiet crossing not far from bustling Burlington. It's sad to see so much of the old farmland between Milton and Burlington being redeveloped and slowly connecting the two cities.

  1. CN’s new intermodal yard will fill in a large gap

  2. Man I swear this one was 435! nice shot

  3. Nicely framed. Well done, Marcus.

  4. Maybe it was a late 435.

  5. If we are going about consist, it very did indeed look like 435. 435 usually has a string of autos at the rear I believe for Oakville. I have never heard of a 399 that early in recent years but anything can happen :)

  6. what time was it? 435 was into Aldershot around 330 – 4 ish on Tuesday, 399, which used to be a clock setter between 5 and 7 pm, has been as late as 6 am the next morning lately, rarely is on time any more

  7. It was around 4 so I think you guys are right it was 435.
There was a GO coach on the end so I would definitely think it was.
