Where would this ore train be coming from? I’ve only ever seen those ore cars in Quebec-Hamilton (Dofasco) service.

“Adams Mine” near Kirkland Lake – mine produced from 1964-1989. This should be a southbound loaded train headed to Dofasco.

I think the ore train was U868, later renumbered 730. As for the ore from Quebec, Jacob, you’re probably thinking of what CP brought in from Hilton mine in western Quebec for Stelco.
