Caption: Sometimes with that anticipated return of spring there are those crystal clear days in which you think you can see from here to eternity. Crisp and dry. This was one of those. Sun in late day low in a cloudless sky. After work I took advantage of such in hopes of catching some interesting trains. Didn't work out that way. But now, 20+ years along, even the GO train now looks good. Here is G0 722 and APCU 900 as seen from Lemonville Rd bridge in Aldershot. The physical plant of course is all changed now, and the landmark Aldershot Cold Storage building in the distance is but a memory. The 722 was dealt off a couple of months after this photo, and the 900 was scrapped the following year.

This is great. I still wish I spent time here before the signals were changed. I didn’t have long.
