More Turbo action: VIA train #61 with its yellow and blue Turbo Train consist heads west at Pickering, along the Kingston Sub parallel to Highway 401, in August of 1976.

By 1978 it was felt that the Turbo was not the solution - the next phase was the LRC, which lasted a lot longer in VIA service.

  1. Great photo Bill! Wondering, what’s the ‘laneway’ to the right? Was this the old entrance for former station?
