Caption: One didn't always see a combination of power like this on a weekend eastbound #76, but the good news was anything was possible so hanging around for this train on a Sunday late afternoon was pretty much a "must". About to enter the CN Oakville Sub around 1730 this particular light overcast day was CN 6516, 6620, 6791 and 6787. It was nice to see an A-B-A-A set, but even better that there was a bit of cloud. This image would have been right into the setting sun otherwise. I'm disappointed I did not log a car count. Incidentally, the close track, the 'helper' track from steam days, has since been removed.

Awesome shot. Did you happen to take a photo of the passenger car first up behind the consist? It look like an ex Reading Railroad “Crusader” observation car! Nice catch.
I did on another occasion, when it was trailing car on a westbound. That one and the old Mother Parkers car were a couple to watch for back then.
Thanks.
