The RTC had to make GEXR go east past Georgetown (Credit no longer exists, only the river). The GEXR can’t reverse in the interlocking, so they have to clear the plant to get a westward signal to go back to the Guelph Sub. The CN power would then get a “return to train” authority to pick up the load. I guess the RTC thought they might have made the move quicker, but as usual VIA pays the price.
Too bad 85 was delayed….I guess someone didn’t read the dimensional file completely….otherwise, there might not have been a delay!
