  1. In 1968 i was apprentice at The PSC shops in Montreal and remember them,they removed their engine and generators and also traction motors before shipping them to the scrap,their double crankshaft engine remained in storage until 1972-73 .

  2. A fitting image of the end of a locomotive’s life. Glad you went to document these, and in not so nice weather either. Thank you for sharing.

  3. Many used FM prime movers, though not necessarily from these units, were re-sold for marine applications.
