Caption: It has been just over a week since the infamous CP derailment and massive explosion and fire at Mavis Rd crossing in Mississauga. An event in which over 200,000 people were evacuated. CP continued to run detours over the CN until the CP Galt Sub was reopened to traffic. These trains were rather hard to catch, but I did get lucky with this one. Westbound CP 4729, 4713 and C&O 3537 are rolling along early morning about to round the curve on approach to Dundas Station. Those who frequented the area back then will recognize the stone retaining wall, and just above it, the track that led up to the Canada Crushed Stone operation, which by this time had been closed about 6 years.
