A CP Rail ballast train led by MLW RS10's 8584, 8568, & 8599 rolls past the pond at Campbellville with Jordan spreader 402895 marshalled behind the power, on CP's Galt Sub on June 7th 1979.Typically used in winter service clearing mainlines, branchlines, yard tracks and sidings, in the warmer months Jordan spreaders were put to use on ballast trains spreading track ballast (typically done by more modern maintenance equipment today).
