And in my continuing series of spring puddle shots - here's 7304 reflected in a small puddle just prior to getting under way at 0654 in the morning. Snake, did you buy Wal-Mart stock yet? Or those water companies... BTW this is what happens when our Mr. Mooney, The D&H's biggest fan, goes away on vacation. Thanks Arnold !! :)

  1. He was going to Oneonta N.y. where you catch these, and I got it in Welland. He first took me to Oneonta about 30 years ago.Great shot…

  2. I’m told 7303 is back in New York after it’s assignment in Smith Falls so hopefully he gets it :)

  3. Very nice, Stephen.

  4. Thanks Earl. I was always a bit jealous of what you guys got back in 2013 – I was unable to make it out back then. What a lucky break, and it lasted for months!

Glad to have had the opportunity!

  5. Oneonta is NS territory these days (CP sold that section of the D&H a couple of years back), he’ll have to go further to see 7303! It was working out of Plattsburgh as of yesterday.

  6. Nice work Steve! I don’t remember seeing that puddle when I was there. I’m starting to think you drive around in a water truck LOL.

  7. As we are all a Mooney protoge, he left the work for us to capture the D&H in Ontario…mighty fine shot Steve. :)

  8. S of a B

  9. :)

  10. Good poke about the water truck Marcus. That’s a funny one. :-)
Excellent photo, for sure it looks like no wind this time, glass smooth.

  11. Aye, laddie. The Lawd of RP has calmed the waters. :o )

  12. As of 2021 or so all of these I believe are off the roster.

  13. The d&h painted ones are indeed off the roster. 7303 and 7304
