With 17 of VIA Rail's 21 P42DC's wrapped for Canada's 150th anniversary, it's getting rarer to get a non-wrapped one leading; it's also rare to see two P42DC's at the head end of any VIA Rail train. But here unwrapped VIA 902 and wrapped VIA 906 lead VIA 63 by the Peel Basin on a gorgeous morning.

  1. I’ve noticed VIA 63′s train set becomes VIA 83 west of Toronto on weekdays (usually a P42 with stainless steel coaches). Nice catch.

  2. Thanks. I saw 63 this morning and it was back to 906 solo.
