Merely a shadow of it's prior glory, Penn Central train No. 50 a midday Detroit-Buffalo run via St. Thomas, is gliding up to the Home signal at Canfield with E8's NYC 4073- PC 4076 and only 4 cars. Amtrak is less than 9 months away from startup but PC has nearly thrown in the towel on this service. Turn the clock back just 2 or 3 years and this train would be upwards of 10 cars.
At least the Engineer is having a good day !
