Wow… Back in my early days of railfanning. I remember seeing that train at Powerline Road at the west end of Brantford. I still have it on video, however the quality is pretty bad. CN 149 had a UP SD70M trailing earlier in the morning from my memory. I remember this was shortly after the CN conductor’s strike had ended. Crazy to think this is already just about 10 years gone. Unfortunately I didn’t become a serious railfanner until the the first 21st century FPON surge was just about over.
I went back through my photos from the day and you’re right. I shot 149 at Paris that day too with CN 5720 and UP 4473. Yes I agree, its still unreal that 10 years have already gone by!
