The grey weather has brought in snow flurries as Streetsville bound local T14 with a pair of former SOO Line GP38s passes the sad remains of the one time busy steel coil transfer facility in Cooksville. The early 2000s would find a new larger transfer facility built in Hamilton, making this one, once operated by Ryder redundant.

  1. Marcus: The lead unit is 4426. I take it the trailing unit is 4429 ? Nice to see. It seems everywhere we go something industrial is redundant.

  2. I think it was 4447, my bad :)

  3. I was by there the other day wondering what was going on with that building. Maybe due for a tear down and yet another condo? ;)

  4. At one point there was a second building in the foreground, but it was removed a few years ago.

  5. Nice catch! Just curious, does T14 run around the same time each day it runs?

  6. Also, which days does it run on?

  7. Typically Mon, Wed,Fri, heading westbound from Toronto around 9-10am.

  8. Thank you
