Caption: The longest day(light) of the year is upon me, and I elected to go up to Dundas and catch some of those after dinner westbounds that look so good passing the old station here. It turned out to be a quiet evening, and other than VIAs, I had to settle for an eastbound. The late sun is beautiful, the train, well, it would do. Three matched GP40-2L(W)9467, 9582 and 9596. These locos are gone from the CN roster now, but soldier on elsewhere,( as do an extreme number of these units)......on WAMX, Aberdeen, Carolina & Western, and Helm respectively.

Great shot Arnold! Really miss those Zebra’s!:( Where were you standing?
Stuart: There were several old structures in the hillside many years ago. I cannot find info on what they were, but all there is left is a little hiking path that starts up the hill there and runs up along the ridge. About 30 ft up there was a old foundation clearing and I used to sit in there. Foliage has completely engulfed the area now.
