One of the early diesels on the ONR, RS-3 1306, is shown here working around the yard at North Bay in behind the shop back in the days when railfan wandering (after asking permission) was tolerated. This MLW product, according to CTG was built in 1951, retired from the ONR in 1985 and eventually scrapped in 1997. The RS-3 was a favourite of mine.
