GEXR local 582 slowly meanders through Glenchristie just west of Guelph with a handful of cars in tow. The train is about to cross Regional Road 124. In a few minutes the train will stop long enough to grab coffees at a local gas bar then head onto Guelph for an afternoon of switching local industries before once again returning to Preston for the night.

  1. Interesting. That appears to be a slug trailing with dynamic brakes. I don’t think I have seen DB’s on a slug before.

  2. Most of the road slugs on G&W have dynamic brakes due to the slug also being a control cab.

    Great catch Marcus
