Caption: I knew the late day sun angle would be a real problem, as it always seems to be the way traffic flowed on the Hamilton Sub between Vinemount and Welland. However, this train had quite the power and I had to try and make the best of it. CP 8750, 9580, GCFX 3095, 3102, 3064, Green Goat 2405 (actually green!!) and GCFX 3098 was the head end power on this #426. I elected this location as good as any, the sooner the shot the better. Shadows at Vinemount, so that was out. Hysert Rd is a "impassible when wet" unimproved dirt road for most of its' length. But perfect for this eve.

You don’t see a variety of power like that on CP trains too often anymore.
