Great shot. Have a number of still, movie and video shots in same general area over the years with lots of Alco appearances. The City/town location is actually Courtice. Darlington applies only to the rail siding
Keith, I listed Darlington as the City/Town as in 1991 this was historical township (before it was merged with Clarke township and became Newcastle.) Courtice was at Highway 2 & Courtice Road and was an unincorporated community within Darlington township. Newcastle would also be correct as that was the name of the municipality before it was renamed to Clarington. The largest town in Newcastle/Clarington is Bowmanville, which is where the Darlingtion township offices were. Newcastle was renamed to Clarington to avoid confusion with Newcastle village which was historically part of Clarke township. Darlington (CP siding) and Clarke (CN station) both live on as railway locations.
