A westbound grain train is in the eastern end of White Canyon, where loosely consolidated sediments form the walls (likely the result of glacial damming in the downstream Lytton area and subsequent flooding of this valley. This, of course, and the fact that the white rock in the area is easily weathered).

  1. Sad that they’ve had a rockslide around there today.

  2. My guess is that these rock slides are fairly regular. Everyone crosses their fingers in hopes that they are small.

  3. Nice. Wonderful location.
