With an assorted load in tow SD75I CN 5607 and Dash 9-44CW CN 2651 power up the hill through Ardrossan.  The range road 222 crossing is now a "no train whistle" crossing, the new safety fence is seen on the left.  How exactly does this fence improve safety?
