Caption: A cool crisp early autumn morning finds CN 384 coming slowly down the hill and through Bayview with the latest and greatest in GE technology holding back the train (CN 3120 trailing). This view was nearly ruined by 524 who had stopped at Snake on track 3 to wait for a 397 that had stopped with issues on track 2 to make a run for the hill. The dispatcher then crossed 524 into Aldershot yard at Snake in between 397 & 384, precision railroading at it's best... Note the new cantilever signal bridge in the distance, the latest change in the ongoing saga of GO expansion into Hamilton. Trackwork is under way at West Harbour, CN Stuart, with new signals also in place at the CP connection at Desjardins. Significant work remains on the bridge over the Desjardins canal, the last major hurdle in the push to extend a third track into Hamilton (2 CTC + Connecting Track).

Interesting signal bridge….
Indeed – will be curious to see how they will integrate the third track here and at Hamilton Jct.
