Caption: Drag race to Oakville. Today I had some time to kill in the Oakville area so I thought I’d take advantage of the opportunity, despite the weather. I’ve always wanted to try this shot taken from the top level of the GO parking garage, but never had the reason to be in the area until now. Great angle and vantage point, at least in my opinion, especially if there’s something specific you want to catch (Like an L-10-L set or the Oakville Geeps heading to Aldershot or whatever). The great view makes it one of the better places to wait if need be. Here I was lucky enough to catch two westbounds entering the station. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten two GO trains side by side going the same direction, the train on the right terminates at Oakville, where the crew changes ends and heads back to Toronto.
