A few weeks ago I posted Ian Walker's front 3/4 photo of this train. Here, thanks to the magic of Dan Dell'Unto, is a side view. It's a chilly night in January 1981 and one of the F units on the Canadian has failed. CP SD-40 5519 has been called in to assist VIA 6536 (still in CN paint) and VIA 6569 (ex CP 1425). Thanks for sharing, Ian. Judging by baggage to be handled, business must be good.

    Great editing work Dan! And a wonderful photo by Ian Walker – I imagine some frostbite was probably acquired give how cold it looks ;)
