Here we find a trio of SD40's making their way to Toronto on Eastbound CP 242 through Guelph Junction. Leading the 6500+ train is CP 9755 with CEFX 1028 for power. Taking the ride are ICE 6211 (SD40-2), DME 6076 (SD40-3), still in nice blue and yellow, and DME 6092 (SD40-3) in faded CP red.

  1. Great picture Bill—sure wish a consist like this one would pass through Hamilton’s Kinnear yard.Nice to see some of the DME/ICE units are still around.

  2. The SD’s are headed to Pickering for scrap

  3. Sad when the ones going for scrap look better than the leader.

  4. Nice catch there, Dude. It is sad, though, when CP seems to insist on filthy leaders.
