Caption: CN GP40-2L(W) 9646 handles the London Auxiliary past Woodstock station and yard, going to a wreck near Paris. Passenger trains were being wyed at Woodstock to return to London due to the mishap, and passengers are visible on the platform awaiting their train. The array of equipment behind the 9646 are a pair of flatcars loaded with rails and ties, a pair of old repurposed baggage cars, flatcars loaded with spare wheelsets and trucks, a wrecking crane, bunk cars and a caboose.
Visible in the yard are a variety of American road cars including C&NW, Rock Island, N&W, Missouri Pacific, Chessie System, Southern, and GTW. A CN switcher and transfer caboose are also mixed in amid the cars.
