Bill, great picture bringing back good memories! Interesting that it looks like 3252 is hauling track work extra with one of the track gang peering out the door of the 3rd bunk car. If I remember correctly, there was no interlocking tower at Lorneville Jct. with train crews lining up switches and interlocking signals manually, much the same as at Washago (pre-CTC). Any idea where the train was heading to/coming from ? Thanks very much for sharing.
