While I was waiting at control point Hanlon for GEXR 431, GEXR 580 coasted off the Guelph North spur and down XW12 to wait for The passage of 431. 580 would then typically follow 431 to Kitchener. However, today 431 crawled up to Hanlon, and the power cut off from the train. The SD-trio then backed into XW12 to retrieve 580's power, which was cut in for a ride to Kitchener. I'm not certain if all units were online to haul the 68 car train west, but is sure sounded like they were.
