Caption: For those who don't know the area, in the early 1900s interurbans railroads were somewhat plentiful in Southern Ontario. The Halton Radial Railroad is built on a stretch of roadbed that once connected Eldorado Park ( west Brampton ) to Guelph. The line was abandoned in 1931 but the roadbed is still quite visible in numerous locations. Numerous pieces of rolling stock (many from the TTC) have been restored at the museum and some are operational. Here we see a couple of the volunteers readying the next run up the line beside the relocated CNR Rockwood station.
