Caption: This train #218 is not listed in the 1997 Trackside Guide, but there is one listed from Clover Bar (eastern Edmonton chemical and auto yard) to Toronto. This photographed train comes from Vancouver, and I think that it terminates in Clover Bar. Both the listed and unlisted one are usually dominated by chemical traffic. That is not the case on this day. TOFC, COFC and autos are most dominant, but I think that some black tanks cars can be seen when I look at the full sized image.

213, 216 and 218 were all hotshots that came from the west into Toronto; usually with piggybacks on the tailend for BIT. They’d drop their lumber and other loads(even livestock in the early 80′s) at Mac Yard before finishing the trip the Brampton.
