The westbound "Super Continental" is about a mile from the downtown VIA station. It is still on the Wainwright Sub, however, as it has veered SW from the mainline at East Junction. Had it gone straight, it would have gone onto the Calder Yard entry on the north side of town, and bypassed the downtown altogether.
Northlands Coliseum may be seen at the right edge of the photo. 
This would be my last photo of an old F unit leading a VIA train.
