Caption: It is hard to believe that it is almost 10 am, but this is what you get at latitude 53.
We have a southbound empty grain train on the Camrose Sub in east Edmonton. #820 was a fairly common train, therefore, i am led to believe that it dealt with elevator on the Camrose and Three Hills Sub's between Edmonton and Calgary. Other options south of Edmonton seem unlikely. The Alliance Sub (SE of Carmose) and the Brazeau Sub (West at Mirror) did not seem to have that many grain facilities to account for all the #820's that I would see.
The power seems a little strange for a secondary mainline train. We have two high-nosed GP-9's leading - one still in NAR colours. Had I been able to drive, or if my wife was there, this would have been a fantastic train to chase. That wasn't going to happen on my bicycle.
